The children had a great time preparing for the Mad Hatters tea party which ran in conjunction with World Book Day.
The children were able to design their product and identify the ingredients needed for jam tarts and sandwiches. The children were able to prepare the ingredients hygienically and use the appropriate utensils required for the tasks. They were able to follow recipes to achieve the final product.
It got a little messy at times but a great time was had by all! That’s what baking is all about!
